Business drivers
Data services are not a domain of professionals anymore. Providing a data service to mass market has the following obstacles:
- Only experienced users are able to set up a mobile connection manually.
- Installation of phone manufacturer software is complicated and its use differs by vendor. Also, this software is usually not preconfigured for a specific carrier or is not available at all.
- Individual customer support is too expensive.
- Different installation process is required for every version of the operating system.
Mobile Connection Explorer solves all the above issues and so it brings additional revenue by extending the data customer base. It allows savings on customer support by reducing the number of data connection related support calls. It also provides additional brand visibility as the software is customizable for specific carrier brand.
